Watch Hollywood productions designer Robert Boyle Live Streaming

LOS ANGELES-Hollywood productions designer Robert Boyle, who worked on such films as North by Northwest, Fiddler on the Roof,.. and received an honorary Oscar 2 years ago, died in Los Angeles, a spokes woman said on Monday. He was 100. Boyle died of natural causes on Sunday after 2 days at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He remained active until his death, lecturing students at the American Film Institute.

During a career spanning more than sixty yrs, he collaborates with directors including Alfred-Hitchcock, Norman-Jewison, Hal-Ashby, Arthur-Hiller and Don-Siegel. Hitchcock gave the Los Angels native his big break at 1941, hiring as art director for Saboteur As production designer, he reunited with Hitchcock on North By Northwest, The Birds and Marnie.
